ADA NAVARRO
Ada Navarro is a photographer and filmmaker. Through intimate relationships and interactions with her surroundings Ada seeks to break down barriers that society has built up around minority and youth cultures: her work blends images related to her experience inside a queer, artistic community, to the body and form of her desires and to the spaces she experiences both real and imagined. She has a witty and distinctive visual style, always creating striking characters who inhabit vibrant worlds.
Ada's previous clients have included Spotify, Lido Pimienta, Instagram, Moonboot, Nike, Documenta Fifteen and Barragan. Always in high demand Ada has also been commissioned to create original images for publications including Vogue México, PURPLE, Art21, Elle México, Love Magazine, i-D UK, and L’officiel México.
Ada's work has been recognised across the industry picking up awards and recognition and has most recently been selected by Centro De La Imagen to be part of their seminar of photographic production for 2021.
